Q&A with 5 incredible women: Jenny Tough, Claire Sharpe, Aluma Ngoh, Rhianna Crisp and Luca Kuhn
Jenny Tough is an endurance athlete who completes incredible ultra bickepacking races. She got first women in both the Silk Road Mountain Race and the inaugural Atlas Mountain Race - two of the most challenging off-road bike races.
Claire Sharpe is a mountain bike guide & coach. She's also the founder of All Terre Adventures and organises the epic Bristol Rally.
Since discovering off-road cycling she has been on a mission to share her new found passion, knowledge and skills with as many women as possible.
Aluma Ngoh learnt to ride a bicycle during lockdown and this year she'll be attempting to ride all 9 stages of the Tour de France Femmes a day before the pros to raise vital funds for Cure Leukaemia. It's all part of her forever mission to inspire every woman to back herself both in cycling and beyond.
Rhianna Crisp has built an incredible community around her brand, which aims to motivate girls "to do cool shit": she shares her cycling beginnings brilliantly on social media, inspiring the women around her to do the same.
Luca Kuhn set out to transform women’s cycling apparel with LUCA. She wanted something different: high-quality cycling wear that empowers women to feel strong, confident, and supported on every ride.

We Ride Together
We work hard to be a safe & fun riding community. We do our best to accommodate a wide range of abilities by forming groups of around a dozen riders of similar abilities with a ride leader in support. We also design our routes with options for riders who need to move between groups or wait for mechanical support.
In order for our ride leaders to keep the event running safely & smoothly, we may ask some riders to join specific groups or take shortcuts.
Clear signalling & consideration for other riders/road users is essential, we ask all riders to communicate verbally & visually to those around them (esp. turns, potholes, obstacles & any sudden change in direction/speed).
If you need support on signalling/safety or have suggestions on ways we can improve our ride management then please reach out to a ride leader or get in touch with us post-ride here.
