First things first, we recommend having a big breakfast and taking plenty of snacks, because the Lake District is in the middle of nowhere and nothing beats a little picnic with the locals 🐮🐏.
Starting from Windermere, you have 15km of relatively flat surface (with great views, always) to warm up before you attack the steepest climb of this ride: Red Bank.
The rest of the route is as smooth as it can be with many more lanes, forests, churches and cottages to take in. It's always a reminder of why we love living in England so much.
On this note, we're super excited to organise a Lake District Escape this summer! Check it out and maybe see you there.
Enjoy the ride!
