It starts at Buckingham palace and takes you straight along the River Thames for great views of Big Ben, Houses of Parliament and the London Eye. After 5 kms you cross the river and cruise along the south side before going back over the iconic Tower Bridge.
You then head to Hyde Park, passing St Paul’s Cathedral and Trafalgar Square on the way. If you have extra energy when entering Regents Park, then why not challenge yourself to set some personal bests by doing this beloved lap.
The way back to Buckingham passes the other side of Hyde Park where you can stop for a coffee at The Serpentine. If you have time to extend the route, take a detour to South Kensington to eat my favourite treat: a warm chocolate chip brioche from Les Merveilleux.
Enjoy the ride!
